The Pilot G-2 Stirs Strong Opinions

Many messengers love the Pilot G-2. It has a solid construction, a satisfying click, and an inexhaustible ink supply. It also unfortunately uses gel ink. The Stevens-Ness Pen of the Month Club

After you’ve been a messenger for awhile you might be hard pressed for reasons to get out of bed in the morning. For one morning every month I can count on Stevens-Ness. The Time Traveler’s Pen

One foot in the present and one firmly planted in the future. This piece of shit Zebra knock off has the gear for the old school paper messenger and a a stylus on it’s butt for the new school app kids. If you plan to sub at all the companys this is the pen for […]Read Post ›

The Zebra or the Unicorn of Messenger Pens

Solid all metal construction, crappy waterproof oil ink, very satisfying click, there are few downsides to the Zebra. Really the only complaint is these are never free. Check your ethics at the office door if you want one. Also according to one messenger in a pinch the Zebra makes a serviceable one-hitter.

The Bic Clic Stic

First up the work horse of the messenger community the Bic Clic Stic. These are widely available and always free. Their size and weight make them perfect for pockets. Some of them are personalized by clients which makes some more desirable than others.
